I am often asked which batteries are best for powering camera flash and compact cameras. I have been using the Energizer Ultimate Lithium Batteries for a while now to power my Canon 580ex Speedlight and would thoroughly recommend them. Amazon have an amazing deal on them at the moment which I believe will run until April.
I am finding that one set can see me through photographing an entire wedding or event. The only downside is that they are not rechargeable, however Boots do a recycling service for batteries so I hope they go to a heaven somewhere!
